The young Ivorian sensation, Alynho Haidara, has officially signed with the German club Mainz 05, which he will join in the 2026-27 season when he turns 17.
A product of the FC Mainz 05 Jacqueville academy, owned by Burkinabè football figure Aristide Bancé, Haidara plays as a striker.
After a successful trial in the summer of 2024 with the Bundesliga club, he was promised a contract as soon as he reaches the required age. He will bolster his new squad at 18.
Alynho Haidara burst onto the global scene during the U17 Africa Cup of Nations, where he claimed the top scorer award. He played a pivotal role in securing third place for Ivory Coast in the tournament.
The 17-year-old is currently with the Elephanteaux in Qatar, where he aims to shine for his country, drawn in Group F alongside Switzerland, Mexico, and South Korea.
