Trelew and Gaiman host zonal and interzonal futsal at Evita Games | OneFootball

Trelew and Gaiman hosted simultaneous zonal and interzonal futsal qualifiers for the Evita National Sports Games on Thursday, organised by Chubut Deportes.

The action ran at Gimnasio Municipal N°1 in Trelew and the Municipal in Gaiman, staging zone one and interzonal two and seven respectively. According to SuperDepor.com, Trelew, Rawson and Puerto Madryn contested zone one, while Gaiman, Dolavon, Gastre, Lagunita Salada, Camarones and Puerto Pirámides featured at the Gaiman venue.

Teams were chasing places at the provincial phase, which will determine Chubut’s representatives at the national finals in Mar del Plata from two to seven November.

The programme ran from nine in the morning until 16:00, drawing 130 athletes across both venues in male and female divisions.

After all fixtures, Defensores del Parque de Rawson sealed the men’s berth from zone one and Juventus Futsal de Trelew advanced in the women’s. In Gaiman’s interzonal, the hosts progressed in the men’s and Camarones qualified in the women’s for the provincial stage in Comodoro Rivadavia from seven to 10 September.
