The UNFP awards were handed out on Monday during a ceremony broadcast live on Ligue 1+. According to L'ÉEquipe, honours spanned Ligue 1, the Arkema Première Ligue and Ligue 2.

In Ligue 1, PSG's Ousmane Dembélé was named best player and also claimed goal of the season. Désiré Doué of PSG took young player, with RC Lens pair Robin Risser and Pierre Sage recognised as best goalkeeper and best coach.

In the Arkema Première Ligue, OL Lyonnes midfielder Melchie Dumornay won best player. Mylène Chavas of Paris FC took best goalkeeper, and MHSC's Justine Rouquet was named best young player.

In Ligue 2, Zuriko Davitashvili of ASSE earned best player. Quentin Braat of Rodez was voted best goalkeeper, with Troyes coach Stéphane Dumont taking best coach, and Le Mans forward Dame Gueye landing goal of the season.

Michael Olise, of Bayern Munich, received the prize for best French player abroad.

Refereeing honours went to Jérôme Brisard, central, and assistant Hussein Ocak in Ligue 1. In Ligue 2, Alexandre Perreau-Niel, central, and assistant Frédéric Hebrard were recognised.

The Joueur citoyen award was presented to Didier Drogba.
