Runaway Serie A leaders Inter Milan have gone from strength to strength under new boss Cristian Chivu this season.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, Inter’s season started turning around in November.

Despite a 5-0 rout of Torino on the opening Serie A weekend, Inter blew hot and cold at the beginning of Chivu’s regime.

Indeed, the Nerazzurri suffered four defeats in their first 12 league matches under the Romanian coach.

After a relatively frustrating start, Cristian Chivu has turned his side’s fortunes around.

Indeed, the 20-time Italian champions have gone into overdrive since losing to AC Milan in late November.

For context, Chivu’s men have picked up a remarkable 11 wins from their last 12 league outings.

Except for a 2-2 home draw against Napoli, they’ve been flawless since that Derby della Madonnina heartbreak.

As a result, they’re now boasting an eight-point lead over second-placed Milan, though the Rossoneri have a game in hand.
