TWO ASSISTS FOR SAELEMAEKERS IN ANOTHER 6-0 VICTORY FOR BELGIUM | OneFootball

Belgium went from one 6-0 victory to another in their 2026 World Cup qualifiers. They may sound like tennis scores, but they are actually the results of Belgium's recent victories against Lichtenstein, and against Kazakhstan this past Sunday, 7th September in Anderlecht. Once again, our very own number 56, Alexis Saelemaekers, was one of the standout players of Sunday's game. He came on in the 63rd minute for Doku, who scored twice, and delivered two assists at the end of the second half. First, he set up De Bruyne in the 84th minute, then Meunier in the 87th. Bringing Belgium up to ten points in Group J, this was the perfect way for Saelemaekers to celebrate his 18th cap for the national team. They are now just one point behind leaders North Macedonia, who have played one more match. Meanwhile, Koni De Winter remained on the bench for the full 90 minutes.
