Two members of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona are ready to turn down the chance to depart the club this month.
The pair in question? Ansu Fati, and Ferran Torres.
The name of wide-man Ansu has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital throughout January.
This comes amid the widespread understanding that, amid another difficult campaign to date for the 22-year-old, Barcelona are open to sanctioning a fresh loan exit.
As confirmed by transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, however, the desire of Ansu himself remains to succeed in Blaurgana colours, with the Spaniard therefore ‘not convinced’ of the merits of a departure.
Turning attentions towards Ferran Torres, the former Manchester City man has emerged as a leading figure in the European transfer chatter on Monday.
This comes amid claims that the versatile frontman has made his way onto the winter wishlist of Italian heavyweights AC Milan.
Ferran has also found game-time somewhat tough to come by this season, owing to a combination of fitness problems, and competition for places.
As confirmed by Mundo Deportivo, though, like Ansu, the 24-year-old only has eyes for Barcelona:
‘Sources close to the Valencian player, consulted by Mundo Deportivo, have made it clear that despite being aware of Milan’s interest, the player has no intention of leaving Barça.’
