Two Barcelona stars react as Real Madrid drops points against Elche | OneFootball

La Liga has been intense this season, and no team seems to be running away with the title so far. Previously, especially after their 2-1 win against FC Barcelona in El Clasico, it did seem like Real Madrid would find themselves in a really comfortable position when it came to holding the top spot in the league.

Unfortunately for Los Blancos, that joy was rather short-lived. Across their last few games, Xabi Alonso’s side has been underwhelming, and they have dropped points in two consecutive La Liga games.

Their most recent result, a 2-2 draw against Elche away from home, was made possible thanks to the help of two former Barcelona players. Inaki Pena, who was superb in goal, and Hector Fort, who had a great shift on the right flank, contributed heavily to the game.
