Chelsea are strolling into a Monday morning still basking in the glory of their 2-1 win over Liverpool on Saturday evening.
With the weekend now over and the international break underway, we can take a closer look at some of the performances from the team.

One player who did really well was Josh Acheampong. The teenager was called up to play alongside a half fit Benoit Badiashile in our very wounded back 4, and did a great job before finally going off in the second half, riddled with cramp.
We weren’t the only ones who liked what we saw from Josh. On the Rest is Football podcast, legendary former England strikers Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer both praised the youngster.
“I’ll tell you who I like, Acheampong. It was a shame he went off injured in the end, but I mean, very assured, first time I’ve watched him in a big game and I thought, we like that” said Lineker.
“Yeah, when you consider the injuries, particularly defensively that Chelsea had, for him to come in and step up like he did. I was impressed with him. He had a good game,” Shearer added.
Unfortunately, this could be the end of Acheampong’s window of opportunity. The good news for Chelsea from this international break is that it gives a whole group of players a chance to get fit again.
By the time we face Nottingham Forest after the international break, we will have Wesley Fofana and Trevoh Chalobah back. Tosin Adarabioyo also looks likely to be back.
Poor Josh is relegated back down the pecking order, despite a good showing. He will have to continue being patient and waiting for his chances. There are certainly no shortage of games to come.
