Two Sevilla Defenders Reportedly Offered to Lazio | OneFootball

Lazio have reportedly been offered the services of Sevilla’s defensive duo, Kike Salas and Andres Castrin.

The Biancocelesti are in the market for at least one new defender, as they’re about to sell Alessio Romagnoli to Al-Sadd, while Mario Gila could join either Napoli or Atalanta. The club is being linked with several candidates, including Dinamo Zagreb’s Sergi Dominguez, Girona’s Arnau Martinez, and Brighton’s Diego Coppola.

Kike Salas Offered to Lazio

According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, the Aquile have the opportunity to sign two Sevilla centre-backs who have been offered to them through intermediaries. The first is Kike Salas, a 24-year-old Seville native who joined his hometown club at a tender age and became a member of the first team in 2023 following a brief loan spell at Tenerife.

The Spaniard has been on Angelo Fabiani’s watchlist since January 2025. This season, he became a regular starter at the Andalusian club, making 28 appearances between LaLiga and the Copa del Rey, and scoring three goals. His contract is valid until June 2029, and Transfermarkt estimates his value at €14 million.

Andres Castrin Also Linked to Lazio

The other name mentioned is Andres Castrin, a 23-year-old defender who began his career at CD Lugo.  The Riotorto native signed for Sevilla in the summer of 2024, and spent his first season with the club’s second team, Sevilla Atletico, before earning a promotion to the senior squad this season.

The Spanish centre-back isn’t considered a regular starter just yet, but he made 21 appearances this season, scoring three goals in the process. With his contract expiring in 2027, he could be more affordable than Salas, with his transfer value estimated at €6 million.

Salas or Kastrin: Which Profile is More Needed at Lazio?

Since the left-footed Oliver Provstgaard is expected to inherit Romagnoli’s starting role, Lazio’s priority could be to buy a right-footed defender, hence why Castrin could be a more suitable option than the left-footed Salas, even though the latter is slightly more accomplished.
