Tyrique George joins Everton permanently from Chelsea on four-year deal | OneFootball

Everton have completed the permanent signing of 20-year-old winger Tyrique George from Chelsea on a four-year deal. L'Équipe reports the fee is about €21m.

George spent the second half of last season on loan at Goodison Park, making 11 appearances totalling 230 minutes, without a goal or assist.

A Chelsea academy product since 2014, he made his senior debut in 2024 and played 37 times for the London club. He was part of the side that won the Club World Cup in 2025.

Everton have also strengthened in midfield with the arrival of Hayden Hackney, 24, from Championship side Middlesbrough, and the German Merlin Röhl, 24, from Freiburg.

The Merseyside club finished 13th in the 2025-26 season.
