After missing out on the previous edition in 2023, Mexico is back on the U20 World Cup stage, led by Eduardo Arce.
- Mexico hasn’t played in a U20 World Cup since 2019 in Poland, where they were eliminated in the group stage following three defeats.
- Their best result dates back to the 2000s with a third-place finish at Colombia 2011.
Mexico secured their ticket by defeating Costa Rica in the quarter-finals of the 2024 Concacaf U-20 Championship, a tournament they went on to win.
