Udinese very active with Unai Gomez and Traore agreements | OneFootball

Udinese are very busy, as today they reportedly shook hands with free agent Omar Haktab Traoré and a €4.5m deal for Athletic Club’s Unai Gomez.

Multiple sources had already noted that an agreement was close with Athletic Club for Unai Gomez, the 23-year-old creative midfielder and product of their youth academy.

According to transfer pundit Matteo Moretto and Marca, a deal has now been done worth €4,5m plus bonuses and he should fly in for medical tests over the weekend.

Now Sky Sport Italia add that Udinese have also secured Omar Haktab Traoré as a free agent, just days after his contract with Heidenheim was allowed to run down.

The 28-year-old right-back can also play in a more advanced role and had been linked with a move to Championship side Watford.

Instead, Udinese have agreed personal terms with the German.

He made 27 competitive appearances for his club last season, also providing two assists from right-back.

Another player close to a deal with Udinese is Giorgi Chakvetadze from Watford.
