Inter Milan will not receive any Financial Fair Play sanctions from UEFA in 2025.
This according to Italian outlet Gazzetta.it. They note that Barcelona could be in trouble, however, along with clubs in the Premier League.
UEFA are set to hand out Financial Fair Play sanctions between January and May.
The European football governing body has made the rules more strict in recent years.
And this will affect a number of clubs significantly.
However, as the Gazzetta notes, Serie A teams have improved their standing with the regulations significantly.
And Inter in particular have worked to the point where they should not fall under any FFP sanctions.
Recently, Inter reached a settlement with UEFA. And the Nerazzurri fell within the terms of this settlement in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons.
Moreover, Inter have improved their financial situation further. And they look on track to do so under owners Oaktree Capital.
On the other hand, notes the Gazzetta, La Liga giants Barcelona face sanctions from UEFA.
As do Ligue 1 side Lyon.
Then, Aston Villa as well we Manchester United and Chelsea also face trouble. They could have to make sales in order to avoid FFP sanctions.
