The countdown to the 2026 UEFA Super Cup is on! UEFA Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain will face UEFA Europa League winners Aston Villa in Salzburg on Wednesday, August 12.
The official event guide provides ticket holders with all the essential information. You can also find up-to-date information directly on the official UEFA website dedicated to the match.
Please note: different rules may apply to the UEFA Super Cup than to our regular home matches.
To ensure a smooth entry, UEFA recommends arriving at the stadium at least 3 hours before kick-off. This will give you ample time for security checks and allow you to fully enjoy the pre-match coverage and atmosphere!
Free public transport on match day for ticket holders (Valid on 12 August, from the start of service until the end of service)
Overnight guests: Get your free public transport ticket!
If you are staying overnight in the state of Salzburg, you will receive a guest card (mobility card). This allows you to use public transport throughout the state free of charge for the entire duration of your stay, including city transport, regional buses, and trains.
Public Transport
For all UEFA Super Cup ticket holders, public transport in Salzburg is free on 12 August from the start of service until the end of service. If you are traveling outside of this period, tickets can be purchased via the Salzburg Verkehr app or from ticket machines at the stops.
Taxis and Ridesharing
Official taxis can be identified by the yellow Taxi sign on the roof. Various taxi companies operate throughout Salzburg around the clock. In addition, the usual ridesharing services are available.
Free Shuttle Bus: City Centre ↔ Stadium
On match day, a free shuttle service for ticket holders will run between the city centre and the stadium:
S-Bahn from Salzburg Central Station
Lines: Take the S2 or S3 S-Bahn lines to Taxham Europark station (travel time approx. 5 minutes).
Walking: From the S-Bahn station, it's about a 15-minute walk to the stadium.
On foot
The walk from the city center or Salzburg Main Station to the stadium takes about an hour (distance approx. 4 to 4.5 km).
Travelling with a car (Park+Ride)
Please note: Please do not drive directly to the stadium! There is no public parking available at or around the stadium for this match.
If you are traveling to Salzburg by car, please use the following Park and Ride facilities (parking at the P+R facilities in Salzburg is free).
Free shuttle buses run between the two P+R locations and the Salzburg Stadium.

Taxi
Due to significant traffic disruptions around the arena, taking a taxi to the stadium is not recommended. If you do use a taxi, please note that there is only one drop-off point near the stadium (Kleßheim Walserweg).

Shuttle buses (return journey)
Shuttle buses will run after the final whistle as long as needed until all fans have left the stadium grounds.

S-Bahn (return journey)
The S-Bahn lines S2 and S3 will run from Taxham Europark station to Salzburg Central Station between approximately 23:00 and 1:30 after the match. Additional special trains will also operate.
Are you staying outside of Salzburg?
Please note that train services are limited late at night. Most regular trains will not run again until the following morning. Therefore, be sure to check your connections in advance on the ÖBB website or app and plan your journey home accordingly.
Salzburg Airport closed at night
Please do not travel directly to Salzburg Airport after the match. No flights operate at night, and the terminals and services will be closed.

Mobile tickets
All tickets are valid exclusively on mobile devices and will be delivered a few days before the match via the official UEFA Mobile Tickets app. If you haven't already installed the app, we recommend doing so before your arrival so you can download your ticket in advance.
Food and drink
A wide selection of delicious food awaits you at the Salzburg Stadium. In addition, non-alcoholic beverages and beer will be served throughout the stadium.
Cashless venue
Snacks, drinks, and fan merchandise can only be purchased cashless by card (debit or credit card) or with mobile payment services (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay). Cash is not accepted in the stadium.

All the Info Salzburg's public transportation network is designed for travellers with reduced mobility. The vast majority of vehicles have low-floor access and are equipped with fold-out wheelchair ramps and designated spaces
Accessible parking at the stadium
To use the accessible parking spaces at the stadium, you must have applied for and received confirmation of a parking permit when purchasing your ticket. Please do not drive to the stadium if you do not have a pre-booked parking space, as there is no public parking available on site. If you have received a parking permit, we recommend printing it and scanning the QR code to get directions to your assigned parking space (P Stadion)
Barrier-free access in the stadium
A dedicated team of accessibility volunteers will be at the Salzburg Stadium to ensure you feel comfortable, receive support and can fully enjoy the match.
These volunteers can be identified by their special vests, which feature a wheelchair symbol and the words Accessibility Volunteer. If you need assistance or have any questions, please feel free to approach them – they will be happy to help!

Accessing the stadium
Upon arrival at the stadium, please use the entrance indicated on your ticket. If you have limited mobility, you can use the entrance closest to your arrival point. All entrances are fully equipped to welcome and assist fans with special needs. Once inside the stadium, please proceed to the block indicated on your ticket. Friendly volunteers will also be available inside the stadium to provide assistance if needed.
Mobile tickets
All tickets are provided via the UEFA Mobile Tickets app. Our ticketing team will email you with all the details before the match.
There are two types of accessibility tickets: wheelchair tickets and tickets for spectators with reduced mobility (Easy Access). A free companion ticket can be added to your order during checkout. Please transfer the companion ticket to your guest before match day.
If you have a wheelchair or reduced mobility ticket and are unable to attend the match, you may be able to resell your ticket. See the Ticketing FAQs for more details.
Medical exemptions
If you need to bring items for medical reasons that are not normally permitted under the stadium regulations, please contact UEFA Ticketing Customer Service to request an exemption. This should be done no later than 48 hours before kick-off.
Barrier-free services at the Salzburg Stadium
Food and drink: There are no low-floor concession stands, but priority queues are available at the concession stands near the accessible seating area.
Toilets: Accessible toilets are located in Sector 118, directly behind the wheelchair section.
Wheelchair rental: A wheelchair rental service is available for spectators with reduced mobility who require assistance reaching their seats. Please ask one of the Accessibility Volunteers for assistance.
Sensory bags: Sensory bags are available in the stadium for spectators with sensory needs. These bags contain noise-canceling headphones, fidget tools, sunglasses, and a communication card. To obtain a bag, please speak to an Accessibility Volunteer in the stadium.
Audio description (ADC)
Audio description is available via the UEFA Champions League app and is offered in English, French, and German.
How it works:
The service requires minimal mobile data. To charge your phone during the match, you may bring a small power bank (no larger than your smartphone). Our Accessibility Volunteers will be happy to assist you with any questions or problems regarding the audio description.
Guide dogs and assistance dogs
If you are attending the match with an assistance dog, please contact UEFA Ticketing customer service in advance. There are specific seating areas for fans with assistance dogs, including a dog-friendly section.
