The ranking of the top assist providers before matchday 3 of the UEFA Champions League

Ahead of the third matchday of the Champions League, which kicks off this Tuesday night, eleven players share the top spot in the assists leaderboard.

Indeed, these 11 players have each delivered two assists over the opening two rounds. Three of them play for Borussia Dortmund: Karim Adeyemi, Marcel Sabitzer, and Guinean striker Serhou Guirassy.

Two other Africans have also made it onto this list: Gabon's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who plays for Olympique de Marseille, and Moroccan full-back Achraf Hakimi from PSG.

Other stars in this ranking include Kevin De Bruyne, Julián Alvarez, Michael Olise, and Hakan Çalhanoğlu.
