Uli Hoeneß about the Olise-to-Real Madrid-rumours: "I laughed my head off!"

Uli Hoeneß has made it clear that Bayern Munich have no intention of parting ways with Michael Olise or Harry Kane anytime soon.

Speaking about reports linking Olise with Real Madrid, the Bayern honorary president laughed off the speculation:

"I laughed my head off. He still has three years on his contract, so for me that's not a topic at all. The Emperor of China could come to us and we still wouldn't talk to him."

Hoeneß also stressed that the same applies to Luis Díaz, insisting Bayern have no interest in breaking up what he believes is the world's best attacking trio:

"We have the best attacking trio in the world with Olise, Díaz and Kane. We wouldn't think about selling any of them."

The 74-year-old also expressed confidence that Harry Kane will remain in Munich, with contract talks expected to begin soon.

"I haven't spoken directly with Harry about that, but I hear he's very happy in Munich. We're very happy with him too, and there's really no reason for him to leave next year. He's a role model in every respect - not just as a goalscorer or as a player on the pitch, but also as a person."

Away from Bayern matters, Hoeneß also weighed in on the ongoing tensions between UEFA and FIFA over Gianni Infantino's plans to expand international competitions.

“Personally, I don't think the Europeans realize how strong they actually are. A competition without Europeans is worthless. If the Europeans are truly united and work consistently towards this goal, Mr. Infantino won't get away with this plan. If he wants Fiji against Cape Verde at the World Cup, then he can have it.”
