Unai Gómez agrees five-year Udinese move, only signature and announcement pending | OneFootball

Only the signature and formal announcement, expected on Friday, remain before Unai Gómez Etxebarria completes his move to Udinese.

As reported by as.com, the Bermeo-born 2003 native has agreed a five-year contract running until June 2031, joining from Athletic.

Athletic will receive 4.5 million, with performance-related bonuses potentially raising the fee to 6 million.

Athletic have retained a buy-back option and a percentage of any future sale of Unai Gómez.

Those terms prolonged the talks, with three-way meetings in recent weeks held to finalise the remaining details.
