Under-11s and under-12s win in Cotia in the Campeonato Paulista

On Saturday afternoon, the U-11 and U-12 teams faced Votoraty at CFA Laudo Natel, in Cotia (SP), in the fourth round of the Paulista Championship. The U-11 side won 6-0, with goals from Enzo Rodriguez (3), Vinicius Souza, César Augusto and Lorenzo, and then won the extra-point shootout 3-2. The U-12 team, meanwhile, won 3-0 in regular time with goals from Miguel Gomes (2) and Arthur Gabriel, but lost the extra-point shootout 5-3.

In the first half, the U-11 controlled the game and had already secured a positive result in the opening minutes. Center forward Enzo Rodrigues scored at 2, 4 and 9 minutes. In the 14th minute, midfielder Vinicius Souza added the fourth goal.

In the second half, coach Xandão made several changes to the team, but the Tricolor kept attacking. In the 18th minute, César Augusto scored the fifth goal. In the final third, César Augusto scored again in the 17th minute.

In the U-12 match, the game was more evenly balanced, with the opposition applying pressure, but in the closing moments of the first half Miguel Gomes scored with a powerful shot.

In the second half, the second goal did not take long to come. In the 10th minute, Miguel Gomes once again struck a powerful shot to extend the lead. In the third period, Arthur Gabriel scored in the 13th minute to seal the result in regular time. In the penalties for the extra point, the opposition was better, beating the São Paulo side 5-3.

Both teams return to action next Saturday (16), away from home, to face Clube Vital at Serra da Colina, in Ibiúna (SP). As usual, the U-11 kicks off at 2:30 p.m., and the U-12 takes the field at 4 p.m.
