Union Berlin sign centre-half Zeno Van Den Bosch on free transfer | OneFootball

Union Berlin have signed centre-half Zeno Van Den Bosch on a free transfer for the 2026-27 season, ending speculation that began in January. The 22-year-old Belgian leaves Royal Antwerp after his contract expires.

The club did not disclose the length of his deal. According to BuLi News, he will sign until 2030.

During 2025-26 he made 35 appearances in the Belgian Super League and registered one assist.

Managing director Horst Heldt described him as a young defender with significant potential who can contribute immediately thanks to his experience. He highlighted Van Den Bosch’s height, strength in duels and agility.

Heldt added that starting regularly for a leading Belgian club at his age reflects maturity, discipline and leadership. Union aim to develop those traits with him, and are pleased he has chosen to take his next step in Köpenick.
