Unión reserves beaten away at Rosario Central | OneFootball

Unión was unable to recover after the defeat against Colón in the Santa Fe derby and lost again. This time, El Tatengue fell 2-0 to Rosario Central in Arroyo Seco, in a match where the Rosario side proved clinical and ended up taking all three points.

Franco Castorani opened the scoring in the 22nd minute of the first half, while Hernán López sealed the game in the 40th minute of the second half. As a result, Unión suffered its second consecutive defeat and complicated its chances of reaching the Playoffs: it sits in 12th place with 13 points, four behind Sarmiento de Junín, who currently occupy the last qualifying spot. Rosario Central, meanwhile, reached 19 points and stands alone at the top, awaiting the results of its closest challengers.
