Unión are closing in on their 2025 pre-season plan, with Casa Unión increasingly favoured for the opening week. According to Radiogol.com, head coach Leonardo Madelón and his staff are weighing up the venue, and the first week would be staged on club premises.

The choice of base will shape timings, logistics, physical work and friendly matches, as well as the level of opposition before the Torneo Apertura, slated for the last week of January.

The provisional schedule has the squad returning to training on Friday afternoon, followed by a Saturday morning session and a Sunday rest day.

From Monday, the plan splits into double sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with single sessions on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

A trip to Uruguay could follow in the second week of preparation.
