Newcastle United welcome Manchester United to St. James’ Park tomorrow night in hopes of putting an end to their dismal home form.
Heading into the clash, the Magpies are on the back of four consecutive defeats on Tyneside, marking their worst run of domestic action in 12 years.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils are thriving with Michael Carrick at the reins.
They have yet to taste defeat in the interim manager’s tenure and have won six of their seven matches played since he took charge in mid-January.

To make matters worse for Eddie Howe, he could be without as many as five key players for Wednesday’s contest.
Lewis Miley, Bruno Guimaraes, Emil Krafth and Fabian Schar are all already ruled out of the encounter, while it sounds ‘too soon’ for Tino Livramento to feature, as per Craig Hope.
Now, Nick Woltemade’s involvement is up in the air after he has been struck ill with a sickness bug, ruling him out of training since the weekend.

Although the German international, who became Newcastle’s club-record signing when they brought him in from Stuttgart for £69 million last summer, has struggled for goal contributions as of late, he will be a major miss should he be rendered unavailable to make Howe’s matchday squad.
Woltemade has returned seven goals and two assists in his first 25 top-flight appearances in England, but has spent the last two games being shoehorned into an attacking midfield role, as opposed to operating in his natural position as a No.9.
As for the visitors, Carrick will be without long-term absentees Patrick Dorgu and Matthijs de Ligt. It remains to be seen if Mason Mount or Lisandro Martinez will return from their injury setbacks in time to play a part.
