Uriarte on Valverde exit: nobody is indispensable | OneFootball

According to El Correo, Athletic president Jon Uriarte responded calmly to Ernesto Valverde’s departure.

Valverde has been the only coach during Uriarte’s four years in charge.

Uriarte said he was perfectly content not to be the first to learn of the decision.

He added there was no need for him to attend the meeting where the coach outlined his future.

He indicated that nobody is indispensable.
