From this list, there are only three footballers who kept the same shirt from their first call-up. Christian Pulisic retains the number 10, the same shirt he’s been wearing since he was 17 years old, after Landon Donovan retired from the USMNT.

The other two players are Weston McKennie, who kept the number eight, and Matt Turner, who kept the iconic number 1 shirt.

McKennie has worn the number eight shirt since his debut at 19 years old,a number previously made famous by USMNT legend Clint Dempsey. Meanwhile, Turner will use the same in the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
