Valencia and Valladolid have agreed the terms of a loan for Víctor júnior to the Segunda División club, with paperwork expected to be signed on Monday. According to Superdeporte, if the medical and presentation proceed as planned, the intention is for Víctor Fernández to link up with Fran Escribà’s squad this week.

Valencia had four options after his standout year with VCF Mestalla in the Segunda RFEF, with Valladolid ahead of Albacete, Andorra and Granada. Following talks, and with limited room anticipated in Corberán’s first-team squad, club and player chose LaLiga Hypermotion to secure minutes.

The move contains no purchase option. At 18, the attacking midfielder will aim to show two tiers up the ability to unsettle defences, plus goals and assists, that he displayed with VCF Mestalla.

He spent last season with VCF Mestalla while on loan from Levante, scoring 12 goals and providing four assists. That form convinced the VCF Academy staff and Ron Gourlay’s sporting department to pay 100,000 euros to Levante to make the deal permanent.

He is under contract at Valencia until 2029. Valladolid will face a penalty if a pre-agreed appearance quota is not met, and Valencia can recall him in January.
