Largie Ramazani finally opened his LaLiga account for Valencia at Mestalla, converting a stoppage-time penalty to defeat Espanyol. The goal ended a wait at the stadium dating back to 2023.

Superdeporte notes that the Belgian arrived last summer to strengthen the flanks. He came on in added time yet still had the chance to take the decisive kick.

He had debuted on matchday three against Getafe, thrilling the home crowd in only three minutes with two surges down the right and an assist for the 3-0.

His level then dipped and a significant muscle injury kept him out for a month and a half. Carlos Corberán has been easing him back, always from the bench.

Saturday's penalty removed two frustrations at once, delivering a bump up the table and finally a goal at Mestalla with his second spot-kick there. The first, for Almería on 23 January 2023, was saved by Giorgi Mamardashvili, but this time Dmitrovic could not keep it out. The hope now is that it is the first of many.
