Valencia loanee Sergi Canós undergoes right ACL surgery in Valladolid | OneFootball

Sergi Canós, on loan at Real Valladolid from Valencia, has undergone surgery on a serious right knee injury.

According to Superdeporte, the operation on his right anterior cruciate ligament was performed on Wednesday at Hospital Recoletas Salud Campo Grande in Valladolid and was successful. The winger had waited about one month to have the procedure.

Canós sustained the injury on 4 April during Cultural Leonesa against Real Valladolid.

He has featured in 21 LaLiga Hypermotion matches this season for Valladolid, scoring two goals and adding one assist in around 1,000 minutes.

Canós now begins rehabilitation. No timeframe has been set, with the timing of his return dependent on how his recovery evolves.
