Largie Ramazani has become central to Carlos Corberán’s side, his form prompting Valencia to move on his future.
According to AS, Ron Gourlay is speaking with Leeds to understand terms for a possible transfer. Ramazani joined Valencia on 28 August on loan without a buy option and is under contract at Leeds until 2028, so he is due to return in summer unless a deal is struck.
The winger has scored six since January, contributing to 15 of Valencia’s 22 points in the second half of the season. He has started the last 10 league matches after not starting any of the previous 23.
Leeds have not yet secured Premier survival, they are six points clear of the drop with 12 to play, and have a surplus of forwards for next season. Those under contract include Nmecha, Piroe, Calvert-Lewin, Daniel Janes, Wilfried and Okafor, with loanees due back such as Ramazani, Jack Harrison, Joe Gelhardt and Mateo Joseph.
Ramazani joined Leeds in summer 2024 for a little over seven million euros. He made 29 Championship appearances, starting five, mostly in brief cameos. After promotion to the Premier League, Valencia moved to bring him back to Spain, where he had shone at Almería.
Alongside the Guido case, Ramazani is the first loanee whose continuity Valencia are negotiating. Similar loans without options involve Lucas Beltrán and Unai Núñez, with no contact yet with Fiorentina or Celta de Vigo. Gourlay aims to resolve Ramazani’s situation before pre-season.
