Valverde again omits Sannadi and Lekue from his squad to face Valencia tomorrow. For Sannadi, a return this season looks difficult.

According to AS, the Vitoria-born forward has been left out for the fifth match running after omissions against Villarreal, Osasuna, Atlético de Madrid and Alavés. After an injury, the winter 2025 signing, bought for four million from Alavés, has slipped out of favour.

Lekue is also missing, behind Areso, Gorosabel, Yuri and Adama in Valverde’s full-back pecking order. For the veteran defender, whose contract is up, a renewal is unclear.

Hugo Rincón returns following a loan at Girona.

Prados and Egiluz have recovered from knee injuries but are not in the squad. The midfielder still hopes to make a squad and get minutes before the end of the month after his serious cruciate injury.

Valverde otherwise has a fully fit group with no injury absences.
