Spanish outlet Marca reports that Fede Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni were involved in another confrontation during Thursday morning’s training session, which allegedly ended with Valverde being taken to hospital and the club holding an emergency meeting.

Sources cited by the newspaper called it “the most serious incident ever witnessed at Valdebebas.”

According to the report, Valverde declined to greet Tchouaméni following an earlier disagreement, setting a tense tone from the start of training.

The situation reportedly escalated after the session, with the pair shoving one another before teammates stepped in to separate them. Later, in what was described as an accidental moment involving the French midfielder, Valverde suffered a significant cut that required hospital treatment.

The fallout reportedly led to an urgent meeting at the training ground, with club CEO José Ángel Sánchez heading to Valdebebas to address the squad and help resolve the growing unrest within the team.

The turmoil comes at a difficult time for Real Madrid, who are on the verge of finishing the season without silverware. They head into El Clásico trailing Barcelona by 11 points, with the Catalan side needing only a draw to secure back-to-back La Liga titles.
