Vasco have opened renewal talks and are weighing permanent deals for four loanees after closing the window with six signings for Pedro Emanuel's squad. Executive director Admar Lopes is focusing on extensions and a budget review before any clauses are used.

According to PaponaColina, there is a verbal agreement to extend 18-year-old midfielder Ramon Rique's deal to the end of 2030, up from September 2029, with improved terms. A formal offer has also gone to Jair after a muscle injury affected his automatic renewal last month.

The club are studying the fixed fees to buy at year end: Cuiabano at 10 million euros (R$ 58.8 million), Robert Renan at 8 million euros (R$ 47 million), Carlos Cuesta at 5.75 million euros (R$ 33.8 million) and Johan Rojas at 3.5 million dollars (R$ 17.9 million).
