Vasco reward staff with shirts and tickets for Copa do Brasil decider | OneFootball

Vasco da Gama have moved to reward their day-to-day staff, arranging official shirts and tickets so employees can attend the 2025 Copa do Brasil return leg against Corinthians at the Maracanã on Sunday at 18:00 Brasília time.

According to PaponaColina, the gesture covers all workers across the SAF and the association club, with distributions made this week.

The first leg finished 0-0 at the Neo Química Arena in São Paulo. A simple win on home turf would secure Vasco a second Copa do Brasil. Their last triumph in the competition was in 2011.

The move has drawn praise inside the club. Walmer Peres, historian and head of the Vasco Memory Centre, called it a historic signal that staff are valued, adding that daily effort deserves recognition and that actions speak louder than words.

The squad returned to Rio de Janeiro on Thursday afternoon. Training is scheduled for Friday and Saturday mornings before the decider.
