Vasco ‘to revive’ move for Adryelson from Al-Wasl | OneFootball

Vasco have reopened talks to sign centre-back Adryelson, 28, from Al-Wasl, exploring a free transfer in the current window.

According to NT Vascaínos, the pursuit has been revived, with both clubs discussing structures that could deliver a deal at no cost to the Brazilian side on Tuesday 18.

The interest dates back to January, when an initial enquiry stalled after the Emirati club sought around US$ 5 million, roughly R$ 25.5 million, for 50% of the player’s economic rights.

Adryelson is under contract with Al-Wasl until 30 June 2028. The club signed him from Lyon in July 2025 for 2.2 million euros, with up to 900 thousand euros in bonuses tied to performance targets.

Talks are ongoing and no agreement is in place. Vasco are keeping negotiations active to reinforce Pedro Emanuel’s back line before the CBF registration period closes.
