Vasilj ‘to join’ Saudi Pro League newcomers Al-Diriyah | OneFootball

Nikola Vasilj is set to join newly-promoted Saudi Pro League side Al-Diriyah after departing St. Pauli as a free agent, Bild reports.

Hamburger Morgenpost claims he has completed a medical and signed a two-year contract with the club.

The 30-year-old had announced his exit following St. Pauli’s relegation from the Bundesliga when his deal expired.

He spent five years with St. Pauli, making 167 appearances.

Most recently, Vasilj started all four of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s matches at the World Cup, where they were eliminated by co-hosts the United States in the round of 32.
