Lazio midfielder Toma Basic has reportedly signed a three-year deal with newly-promoted Serie A side Venezia, who are now pushing for Niclas Fullkrug, who has returned to West Ham from Milan.
Venezia are preparing for the 2026-27 Serie A campaign after earning promotion from Serie B this season.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, their first summer reinforcement is Lazio midfielder Basic, who has signed a three-year contract with the Lagunari.
Basic’s contract at the Stadio Olimpico expires in June, so the 29-year-old joins Venezia on a free transfer.
The newly-promoted side also hope to sign West Ham striker Fullkrug on a free transfer.
The German centre-forward has returned to the English club after a disappointing six-month loan spell at Milan, where he only scored one goal in 20 appearances.
His contract with West Ham runs out in 2028, but Venezia hope the 33-year-old will reach an agreement to terminate the deal, given that he’s not part of West Ham’s plans, and return to Italy as a free agent.
