Ismael Saibari is officially a Bayern Munich player. The record champion has secured the Moroccan’s services. Now, a superstar has been singing the praises of the attacking player, who will still be competing with his national team at the 2026 World Cup.
Saibari has scored three goals at the World Cup so far, including one against Brazil. In the round of 32, he decided the match against the Netherlands by converting the final penalty kick.
The 25-year-old’s World Cup record—he can play in multiple positions—is certainly impressive. No wonder FC Bayern was eager to seal the deal even before the tournament began.
Saibari is reportedly set to cost a total of 55 million euros. Given the prices often paid for good players these days, that’s not an overly high sum. And Morocco’s attacking player is praised by many experts and current professionals alike.

Lamine Yamal is among them. The Spanish superstar, who has already made a significant impact on the world of soccer at a young age, listed the new Bayern signing as one of several players who have particularly impressed him at this World Cup.
“Among the stars, I really like Vinicius Jr. Of course, Messi. And Saibari, who I think is playing very well at this World Cup,” the 18-year-old told Cadena Cope.
He described the Moroccan as “a player who plays very good soccer. He doesn’t just score goals—he plays strongly overall.” Receiving praise from such a star is, of course, always something special.
Saibari still has big plans with his national team; in the World Cup round of 16, he’ll face Canada and his future teammate Alphonso Davies. The Moroccans are considered the favorites in this match; they’re determined to reach the next round and continue their own positive World Cup run.
