Vesga returns to group as Terzic steps up Lezama workload | OneFootball

Vesga has returned to group training at Lezama after a week out, as Terzic begins the third week of pre-season with rising intensity.

The session started indoors then moved to Campo 5, as reported by as.com. Low-key run-outs arrive against Sestao River and Segunda side Eibar. Yuri, Gorosabel, Vivian, Sannadi, Ruiz de Galarreta, Berenguer and Serrano did not train with the group due to physical issues.

Vesga is still seeking a new club, with Mallorca the latest to show interest. He was not included for the friendlies against Derio and Leioa.

Vivian and Gorosabel worked on Campo 1. Vivian has an insertional injury in the long adductor of his right leg, while the full-back has a moderate injury in the right long adductor.

After a rest day yesterday, first-team players underwent lactate testing today. Terzic has picked modest opposition now and will raise the bar later in pre-season, with Marsella and Atalanta lined up. He is satisfied with the team’s evolution so far, though these friendlies offer few firm conclusions, and individuals such as Navarro and Djaló have left good impressions.

Two more friendlies are scheduled this week, along with four training sessions today, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10:30. Sunday is a rest day. Vencedor and Agirrezabala are also looking for a move.
