VfB Stuttgart ‘to target’ attacking double swoop for Pejčinović and Sauer | OneFootball

VfB Stuttgart are exploring an attacking double move for Dženan Pejčinović and Leo Sauer ahead of their UEFA Champions League campaign, according to Bild.

Both have been marked as priorities, although any deal would be costly. The club’s supervisory board has approved funds on the condition that significant sales come first.

Stuttgart are furthest along for Pejčinović, with an improved €22 million offer expected in the coming days while Wolfsburg are holding out for €25 million. Personal terms with the 21-year-old are understood to be agreed on a contract until 2030.

The chase for Sauer is less advanced. The 20-year-old Slovak international has agreed personal terms with TSG Hoffenheim and is also drawing interest from Benfica.

While a fee of about €7 million was previously suggested, the report now indicates Feyenoord could seek up to €10 million for the winger.
