Victor Kristiansen set for Panathinaikos loan with option to buy | OneFootball

Victor Kristiansen is increasingly likely to leave Leicester City for Panathinaikos on a season-long loan that includes an option to buy next summer. He is set to reunite with Jacob Neestrup after their time together at Copenhagen.

TipsBladet reports that Kristiansen will be available to Neestrup on Monday, so he could feature in a friendly against Rapid Wien on Wednesday.

The left-back missed City's 3-0 pre-season win over Northampton Town after previously taking part in training.

The Greek club were unsuccessful with a loan attempt in June, but revised conditions are understood to have enabled an agreement.

No price has been disclosed for a potential permanent transfer. The option is said to mirror previous arrangements, automatically activating if certain criteria are met.

Kristiansen joined Leicester in January 2023. He had been involved in training before sitting out the weekend friendly.
