Víctor Muñoz set for Liverpool medical | OneFootball

Liverpool are close to completing the signing of winger Víctor Muñoz from Osasuna after triggering the player's release clause.

The 22-year-old joined Osasuna from Real Madrid last summer but his performances have impressed enough for the Reds to trigger his £34.5 million release clause.

With Muñoz currently a part of the Spain squad at the 2026 World Cup, the transfer still has some formalities left to complete, including a medical reportedly scheduled for next Wednesday according to journalist Will Unwin of The Guardian.

However, Muñoz is said to have agreed a six-year contract with Liverpool which will make him the first signing of new manager Andoni Iraola.

Muñoz played 36 games for Osasuna in all competitions in the 2025/26 campaign, scoring seven goals and making five assists.
