Victor Osimhen is at the centre of a summer scramble after Nigeria coach Eric Chelle signalled the Galatasaray striker may be changing clubs. According to Goal.com, talks over his next move are under way with Premier League and Serie A sides attentive.

Chelle left the 27-year-old out of the Super Eagles squad to face Poland, saying he preferred him to stay home rather than play below full fitness while resolving his future. He also said Lookman was tired and that Atletico Madrid had asked for him to be excused.

A switch to England has long been floated, with Manchester United repeatedly linked and Patrice Evra urging the club to act. United signed Benjamin Sesko for £74 million ($100m) in 2025, yet the appeal of a proven goalscorer such as Osimhen remains.
