New Inter defender Akanji scored a goal for his national team, Switzerland, on Friday, contributing to a 4-0 win in a World Cup qualifying fixture.

The new Inter defender found the net with a towering header from a corner kick routine, scoring his fourth international goal in 72 appearances.

Akanji joined Inter from Manchester City on deadline day and has yet to make his debut for the Nerazzurri.
