Victor Boniface has arrived in Italy and is ready to begin his medical examination with Milan after the Rossoneri struck an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen for his transfer on Thursday.
Milan have an agreement in place with the Bundesliga outfit for a season-long loan at a cost of €5m, with an option to buy at a later date for an additional €24m.
The Rossoneri turned to the Nigeria international after failing to strike a deal with either Manchester United or Juventus for Rasmus Hojlund or Dusan Vlahovic, reports in Italy confirm.

Outlets in Italy have stressed the importance of Boniface’s medical with Milan given his injury history, which includes two cruciate ligament injuries from his time with Bodo/Glimt, plus a series of muscular injuries over the last two seasons with Bayer Leverkusen.
If however, the 24-year-old passes his medical on Friday, he will become Milan’s eighth signing of the summer transfer window, following the previous arrivals of Luka Modric, Ardon Jashari, Samuele Ricci, Pervis Estupinan, Koni De Winter, Zachary Athekame and Pietro Terracciano.
