Galatasaray took early lead against Liverpool when Mario Lemina scored in the seventh minute of Champions League last 16 first leg in Istanbul.

Early blow for Liverpool

Galatasaray made a fast start against Liverpool in first leg of the Champions League round of 16 on Tuesday 10 March and went in front after only seven minute.

The match is being played at RAMS Park in Istanbul, with Arne Slot’s side trying to avoid another difficult European night away from home.

The goal came from Mario Lemina after a dangerous set-piece.. The corner was sent in from the left, Victor Osimhen won the first header and the ball dropped for Lemina who scored from close range to make it 1-0.
