Just over a week ago, Aston Villa were in crisis and winless but now they are on the verge of four wins on the bounce, and it's one of their more maligned players who has set them on the way.

Donyell Malen had only scored three times for Unai Emery's side following his January arrival last season but it didn't look like that as he raced clear to finish confidently past Burnley keeper Martin Dúbravka.

He grabbed a second just after the hour, rifling home after being picked out by Morgan Rogers.

With the Dutch forward now in the goals after Ollie Watkins broke his duck last week, it looks like things are firmly looking up for the Villans..
