Villarreal and Getafe are working on double moves involving Ramon Terrats and Jean Ives Valou. According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, Terrats is close to a permanent move and Valou is nearing a loan, as separate deals.
Terrats has returned after Espanyol declined a non-obligatory option from last summer's loan. In his final contract year, he is pushing to rejoin Getafe, though Iñigo Pérez had planned to start him next week.
Under José Bordalás, he impressed in the second half of 2024/2025 with 15 games and four goals. Even so, that form did not sway Marcelino García, so a new exit was pursued.
Espanyol's option was 3.5 million euros. Villarreal and Getafe are discussing a fee that could be between 2.5 and 3 million euros. He would replace Luis Milla, who has joined Como for 6 million euros, while Mauro Arambarri has moved to River Plate for 5 million euros.
Valou's switch is close in an independent deal, initially a loan without a purchase clause. Getafe revived their winter interest after failing to finalise a move then.
He has yet to debut in La Liga for Villarreal, featuring instead in the Copa del Rey, but stood out last pre-season when injuries to Willy Kambwala and Logan Costa opened up minutes.
Signed in February 2023, Valou is a highly rated academy centre-back. With centre-backs plentiful under Iñigo Pérez, Getafe's Conference League campaign could offer minutes as he turns 21 in December, after 28 outings and three goals for Villarreal B.
