Villarreal B move on from Zamora blow as Jan Encuentra becomes first 26/27 signing | OneFootball

Villarreal B have drawn a line under their play-off exit to Zamora and turned to 2026/27 in Primera Federación, with David Albelda continuing in charge.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, their first move is a deal with FC Andorra for right-back Jan Encuentra, who will join the B team under Albelda next season.

The defender has signed for three seasons, keeping him at Villarreal until 2029.

Encuentra, born in Lleida in May 2006, is a right-back with range, potential and Primera Federación experience. He came through Real Betis’s academy before moving to Andorra in 2025.

In 2025/26 he spent a loan spell at Unionistas de Salamanca, making 22 appearances in the division and registering two goals and two assists.

The addition strengthens the right flank and confirms Villarreal B’s first incoming for the new campaign. The squad will start to take shape in the coming weeks.
