Villarreal have begun a new phase of redevelopment at Estadio de la Cerámica to modernise facilities and enhance the fan experience. According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, the works could lead to seat adjustments that may affect some season-ticket holders in 2026-27.
The programme includes improved access routes, new vomitories and distribution corridors, plus optimised internal circulation and matchday safety across the ground.
In the Fondo Norte with Tribuna area, a new annex building will be constructed to expand sports-use spaces, create new car parks and strengthen stadium services. As part of this reordering, the Casals Blaus located beneath that section will be removed.
Supporters who might be affected by the new configuration will receive individual communication, with alternative options to choose what best suits them. Full details are set to be provided when the next season-ticket campaign is launched.
The club plans to update fans as the project progresses. This phase continues the transformation begun in 2023, which coincided with the club’s centenary, and reinforces Villarreal’s bid to consolidate La Cerámica as a leading Spanish football venue for its modernity, closeness to its surroundings and variety of spaces.
