Villarreal’s 2026-27 La Liga schedule set, starts in Santander and ends in San Sebastián | OneFootball

Villarreal have their 2026-27 Primera División route mapped out, starting in Santander and finishing in San Sebastián. According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, the club’s request to play the first three rounds away due to works at La Cerámica has been granted.

The opener comes at Racing Club at El Sardinero on the weekend of 16 August 2026. Matchday two takes them to the Metropolitano to face Atlético de Madrid on 23 August, then to Mendizorroza to meet Deportivo Alavés on 30 August.

The home bow arrives on six September against RC Deportivo de A Coruña. Real Betis visit on matchday five, before the first midweek round on 16 September brings a trip to Málaga.

Levante arrive on 20 September 2026 for matchday seven, the first regional derby, with the return on 18 April 2027, matchday 32, at the Ciutat de València.

Elche visit La Cerámica on 18 October 2026, matchday nine, with the reverse on 14 March 2027, matchday 28, at the Martínez Valero. Valencia face Villarreal at Mestalla on 25 October 2026, matchday 10, before the return on 21 February 2027, matchday 25.

Real Madrid host Villarreal on 11 October, with the reverse on seven March 2027, matchday 27. Barcelona come first on 22 November away, then to La Cerámica on 14 February 2027, matchday 24. Atlético’s return meeting is set for 21 April 2027, matchday 33, in Vila-real, one of the midweek dates.

LaLiga’s Jornada Retro falls on 11 April 2027, matchday 31, when Athletic Club visit La Cerámica.

The run-in features Sevilla away at the Sánchez-Pizjuán on matchday 36, Osasuna at home on 23 May, then the finale on 30 May 2027 at Real Sociedad in Anoeta.
