Vitor Roque has entered the final phase of his left ankle rehabilitation, with Palmeiras confirming on Monday that he has begun the physical transition.

In recent days the forward had joined team warm-ups. This morning he took part in the opening block, a positional technical drill of passing, build-up and finishing, alongside the squad.

The transition phase is a key step in his recovery. The plan is to proceed cautiously so he can resume full training without pain.

The ankle issue has troubled him since the start of the season. He spent one month sidelined without surgery, then suffered a blow to the area soon after regaining a starting place, and Palmeiras chose an operation this time.

The procedure was carried out in early May. He did not take the recess enjoyed by team-mates, continuing to work at the club’s training base to accelerate his recovery.

Roque has only an outside chance of being named for the first game after the stoppage on 22 this month against Coritiba. A return in early August is more likely.
